Do goodness to others, for God’s sake

Franklin’s wisdom for US: Doing good to others is the most desired praise to God.

Franklin wrote “the most acceptable Service of God is doing Good to Man” twice in his autobiography.

He wrote “What is Serving God? ’Tis doing Good to Man.” in his 1747 almanac. He followed this in his 1751 Poor Richards Improved with “Serving God is Doing Good to Man, but Praying is thought an easier Service, and therefore more generally chosen.”

Franklin’s call to action for US: Do goodness to others, always.
